TAKE ADVANTAGE OF RUC’S EXTENSIVE STUDENT SUPPORTIVE NETWORK

The Rutgers-Camden campus is the smallest and most intimate of all the Rutgers’ campuses but the resources available to students to help support them on academic journey are just as robust. With numerous offices to support students on their academic, social, career, and wellness journeys, students are encouraged to take advantage of all of the services that Rutgers-Camden has to offer.

For E3 Student Leaders working towards the targeted goals within your primary goal area, it can be challenging to know the most effective way to complete tasks that contribute to your progress. This page has compiled a list of resources designed to provide guidance and support as you work towards these goals. These resources include academic services, student-facing offices, and helpful tools to ensure your success throughout your undergraduate journey.

The Office of Disability Services works closely with students with disabilities to develop an individualized plan for appropriate services and reasonable accommodations, which include note taking accommodations, AFT accommodations, and housing accommodations.

The dedicated team of professionals at the Student Wellness Center provides comprehensive medical and mental health support for students. The Wellness Center offer maintains the campus Food Pantry, a recourse providing free access to nutritional food.

RUC hosts countless ways for students to get involved recreationally with intramural sports, competitive and social club sports, group exercise, or individual workouts. The Athletic and Fitness Center maintains state-of-the-art athletic equipment which is free for all students to use.

RUC has numerous financial and personal support programs for first-generation students and their families. These programs include B1Gs, a student organization, EOF, a state-funded academic and financial support program, and TRiO, a federally funded program that provides support to first-gen, low-income, and disabled students.

The Office of Military & Veterans Affairs offers support services to veterans and military-affiliated students to ensure a successful transition to university life. These resources include academic advising, mental health support, tutoring, and tailored career services.

The VMPA Department hosts numerous public programs and encourages all students to get involved. These activities — which include musicals, art exhibitions, choir performances, and more — allow students to use creative practices to develop professional skills.

Center for Learning and Student Success

CLASS offers a variety of academic support services, including peer tutoring, writing support, and student-led study groups. CLASS also offers, success coaching, a support resource offered to first-year students to help students adjust to college life.

The Career Center helps students succeed and prepare for their academic, workplace, and entrepreneurship worlds. The Career Center can help students choose a major, discover internship opportunities, and explore careers. The center offers a variety of services such as career exploration, graduate school advising, and resume advice, designed to empower students in their career planning process.

Honors College

The Honors College encourages academic achievement, interdisciplinary study, and collaboration among students as well as engagement with the local community. The Honors College invites students to pursue their goals in a meaningful and impactful way; students who meet admission requirements are invited to join.

Research Office

There are a variety of ways for undergraduate students to get involved in research opportunities. The Research Office supports research across campus to find funding and collaborative opportunities. Graduate School of Arts and Sciences
